Today I met with Amanda Pepin at the Parisian Day Spa in Cromwell to get my first set of amazing individual eyelash extensions! Can I tell you how much I love my new lashes?!….I LOVE THEM!!! I love that now I can wake up and feel like I already have mascara on. No more strip falsies!

Amanda is amazing and so incredibly talented! We hit it off right away and we had such great conversation during our over 2 hour session. She is certified in Xtreme Lashes and was their April 2010 Lash Stylist of the Month. As a makeup artist, I know quality lash extensions when I see them and Xtreme is the best in the industry.

I’ve been getting a lot of emails and messages inquiring what I do to get my body ready for a pageant. Well, it’s no secret that I work out pretty consistently with my trainer Arnold Vasquez at Soldiers of Fitness (ladies in CT, he offers Skype workouts which are extremely effective!) Especially a few weeks before the pageant…I have a love-hate relationship with the elliptical due to the 2-a-days I was doing! Haha

Two shakes a day, a sensible dinner and 1-2 snacks a day is all I need to fight fat and shed lbs! Great source of protein, <1g sugar, low in carbs and sodium so it fights bloating and is great for the waistline. Watch the videos and take a look around the site. Just got back from spending the weekend in NYC! I was asked to be a model for Mac Duggal at the NY International Bridal Week at Pier 94. I’ve been to Market before as a guest but never worked for a designer before so this was a cool experience! They had gorgeous dresses in their Couture line as well as their Prom line. My favorite line would have to be their Couture cocktail dresses! So chic and sexy!!

I was fortunate enough to get a sneak peek at their new Pageant line also! They are to die for! Thanks to Antoinette, Mariela, Kyle, and Ieena for being so great to work with. Also thank you to Mac Duggal for having me as one of their models!

A sneak peek at my photo shoot yesterday with See What Develops…

Just finished with my amazing photo shoot session at See What Develops Portrait Studio in Houston, TX! Kevin and Terry are very dear friends of mine and were able to squeeze me in today. My contestant headshot for the last 2 years at Miss CT USA were from SWD and I am always in awe of their work! They have also sponsored me for the last few years which I am so grateful for.

My FAVORITE evening gown that I have ever worn! It was designed by none other than one of my best friends Gaspar Cruz of Crown Couture! We had an idea in mind but became very inspired by the Miss Universe 2011 evening gowns. So we tweaked the design a little bit and came up with this stunning creation. Gaspar is one talented man and I am honored to be in his winner’s circle!
